Day One was a day of Signings and queues - with Max Toy Co's Mark Nagata and Javier Jimenez signing at the Rotofugi booth 5248 (above-right). At the Toy Tokyo booth 5337, saw Sket One and Touma, both represented by Bad Ju-Ju. Seen below are multiple signings at the Dragatomi booth 5350, featuring (clockwise-top-left): DrilOne and Leecifer, J*RYU, PodgyPanda and Philip Lumberg.
Seen in the quartet of image-montage above is Luke Chueh signing his "Target: Self Medicated?" collaborative figure with Jason Freeny, at the Munky King booth 4851. Other shenanigans at the annual event include folks Gary Baseman, Touma, Frank Kozik (who instagrams loads at @frankkozik), with scenes at the DKE Toys booth 5048.
SDCC-Exclusives galore were released to the wild, including Andrew Bell's Rare European Blood Worms (above-left) and Green Envy Dealmaker (above-right). Kuso Vinyl released their DIY Blank Minicel from Rotobox (below-right) and Philip Lumberg's Awesome Bear at the Dragatomi booth.
I'm pretty jazzed to see the Tooti Frooti Finger Five figures from Fig-Lab, launched at the 3D Retro booth, which also saw Paul Kaiju, Sucklord and Don 'Datadub' Krazer signing.
I was looking forward to this particular custom from Southern Drawl featuring a custom-Teddy Trooper as a Voltron robot! Check it out at the Dragatomi booth #5350 where it is for sale too! I wonder what's happening for Day Two Saturday at SDCC? :)
